The Schools’ Music Service under the leadership of Mervyn Grand visited Biberach in July. The Youth Orchestra, the Concert Wind Band, the Youth Choir and other smaller groups were involved, in all more than 80 Guernsey youngsters took part.
At the same time a group of St John’s Cadets who had teamed up with Biberach’s Red Cross Cadets also visited Biberach.
The German Language Course in Biberach has become an annual feature and some more Guernsey students took part.
The Biberach Wind Orchestra would like to visit Guernsey and is looking for contacts.
