A student from Biberach on work experience spends three months in Guernsey working for the Environment Department. This has been organised by the Guernsey Careers Service.
Members of the Biberach Junior Chamber are looking for contacts in Guernsey and have been put in touch with the Young Business Group.
The St Martin’s Boys Choir pays a second visit to Guernsey. The trip is hosted by Churches Together in Guernsey, formerly the Guernsey Council of Churches. They sing in St Stephen’s Church and the Town Church and pay a visit to the Occupation Museum.
A group of Red Cross Cadets from Biberach spend their holiday in Guernsey. The trip has been organised with the help of the St John’s Ambulance Cadets.
A group of former deportees, representatives of Churches Together and other interested individuals are spending a week in Biberach in September. Several former deportees visited Biberach for the first time since their deportation.
